AOR Disco Deeper Mix by DJ Same
Many thanks to Sam Edlin aka DJ Same for this 12th volume in his series of mixes for us. As with Rock Edits and others, this Deeper Mix sees Sam continuing to explore the AOR genre and then blending it with soul, funk and house in a way that few DJs can do as successfully. Opening with a sample from AOR Disco's recent interview with Lauren Laverne on BBC6 Music, this mix combines reinventions of classics by soft rock warriors Mr Mister, Whitesnake, Fleetwood Mac, and Heart with tracks by soulful types such as The Temptations, Al Green, Oliver Cheatham and, last but not least, Le Pamplemousse.
